Midland mini piling and foundations

Recent project in Hallaton Leicestershire

We were asked to quote for the above project
due to building control wanting 2.8 metre dig
on a single storey extension because of ground
conditions and a stream running under the exsisting
house and where the new extension was to be built.
Due to the stream it was not possible to dig a traditional
footing as it just filled up with water so went for mini piling
and only had a small footing to deal with we redirected
the stream and form a reinforced ringbeam for the builder to
build of.

We were asked to quote for mini piling for single storey
extension due to a 2.5 metre dig due to made up ground
the builder was amazed by the cost saving of piling compaired
to a traditional dig.
